LONGNOSE Experience
The first time i saw this project, i was amazed. How Old land rovers can motivate people 40 years later ?
Longnose : An incredible project managed by Thomas Bell and his team.
Then the Longnose has been detailed in a Land rover French magazine, i decided to get in touch with this German workshop. I called in Germany, and was very nice introduced to Thomas. Then we planned to meet in Germany.... i will see the Longnose in a few days !!
It was a good opportunity to show my Land rover modelscale to Thomas.
During the trip to Germany, i was dreaming making the Longnose the same way i did the 88 SIIa. Many parts are identical and just a few would need to be created or modified. I discussed with Thomas. He said:, why not, never say never.
I was welcome like a mechanical enthusiast and whe spent our morning discussing. Great day !
Thomas found a crazy modelist, the same way i found a crazy enthusiast and a smart manager.
I keep a very good memory of this morning, and from time to time, i take a look on his web site to see all goodies dealing with the Longnose project.
